Our History
In 2005, a group of creative and musically gifted young men organized and coined the “Akwantufuo Boys”. This name originated in homage to the Akan dialect, which translates “akwantufuo” to “the travelers.” The Akwantufuo Boys sustained a music only entity until 2008 when Samuel proposed the idea to expand into event planning. It was during this time that the Akwantufuo Boys condensed their name to AK24 Entertainment, signifying a merging of appreciation of music, entertainment, fashion, and social gatherings. With Samuel, as the CEO, AK24 Entertainment combined many of the most notable markers of lifestyle enjoyment and philanthropy to shift the celebration scene for the world to experience.
